In particular, the spread of "digital invoices (Peppol)", which allows data to be exchanged directly between different accounting and invoice issuing systems, is considered essential for improving the productivity of corporate back-office operations.

OPRO and First Accounting have now verified the interoperability of digital invoices between their respective services, aiming to enhance user convenience and promote DX across the industry.

What is Peppol?

Peppol (Pan European Public Procurement Online) is an international standard specification for electronic transaction networks originating in Europe. It is a mechanism for securely and interoperably sending and receiving electronic documents such as invoices. Businesses in each country obtain a Peppol ID and exchange data through certified access points.

In this verification, we confirmed that qualified invoice data sent from OPRO's "Peppol Connector by OPRO" could be successfully received and processed by First Accounting's reception service "Remota" via the Peppol network.

We confirmed that digital invoice data based on the Japanese standard specification (JP PINT) was accurately transferred from "Peppol Connector by OPRO" to "Remota" via the Peppol network.

"Peppol Connector by OPRO" is an application that converts invoice data stored in Salesforce into a format compliant with JP PINT, the Japanese digital invoice standard specification, and sends it as a digital invoice through the Peppol network. It provides sender-side functionality corresponding to C1 (seller) in the Peppol four-corner model. Even companies that have not yet obtained a Peppol ID can smoothly start migrating to digital invoices, as we can assist with ID issuance based on their corporate number and qualified invoice issuer number. By connecting to the Peppol network via First Accounting's Peppol Access Point API, invoice data can be sent securely and reliably from within Salesforce.

"Remota" is a cloud-based invoice processing service that can be completed within a web browser. It also supports the reception of various invoices, including Peppol-compliant digital invoices, which can be managed collectively within Remota.
