Shiseido Company, Limited announced that it received the 'First Prize,' 'Second Prize,' two 'Third Prizes,' and an 'Excellence Award' out of 138 entries at the 2026 China Cosmetic Science and Technology Conference, hosted by the China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI). Additionally, the company received a 'Second Prize' out of 71 entries at the 2026 China Fragrance and Flavor Science and Technology Conference. These awards recognize both the research content and the company's contribution to the technological advancement of the Chinese cosmetics industry. All six papers submitted by Shiseido across both conferences were awarded. Two of these, including the one that won the 'First Prize,' were developed entirely under the leadership of the local research institute in China. This marks the 10th time Shiseido has received the 'First Prize,' which is awarded to the most outstanding research in each field. The company will leverage these latest research findings and high-level technologies, generated through its global R&D network, for the development of global brands such as SHISEIDO and ELIXIR.
