Sumaten Inc., a startup solving legal inspection issues through DX, conducted a survey on the management of disaster supplies among 70 men and women nationwide. The results revealed that 30% of respondents do not have disaster supplies at home, and among those who do, the most common check frequency is 'once every few years.' Furthermore, while regular checks focus on the expiration dates of emergency food and water, items essential for actual evacuation and daily life, such as mobile battery charge levels and the contents of disaster bags, are not sufficiently checked. The top reasons for not checking were 'it's a hassle' and 'I just forget.' This highlights the importance of making disaster preparedness a regular habit in daily life rather than a special event.
