Sharp Launches 4 New Models of Water Oven "Healsio"

Sharp is launching 4 new models of its water oven "Healsio". The generative AI service "CookTalk" has evolved, allowing users to combine their favorite ingredients and generate automatic cooking recipes.

Healsio's automatic cooking function "Leave it to Cooking" has been evolving since its first introduction in 2015, improving taste, usability, and expanding its recipe library. By simply placing ingredients on the square tray and selecting a cooking method from "Grill/Fry", "Bake", "Stir-fry", or "Steam/Boil" (*2), the oven automatically adjusts the heat and cooking time.

This time, the generative AI service "CookTalk", which allows an AI assistant to answer cooking questions via smartphone, has evolved. It can now automatically generate "Leave it to Cooking" recipes by combining favorite ingredients (*3). By creating a database of recipe development know-how cultivated over years of cooking appliance development, when users input ingredients they want to use, the AI generates and suggests recipes suitable for cooking with Healsio. Additionally, when cooking automatic menus from the "COCORO KITCHEN Recipe Service", a new feature allows users to tell the AI the desired finish time, and the AI will create a cooking schedule and suggest a start time for preparation (*3). Healsio supports a daily life that wastes neither time from meal planning to preparation nor ingredients.

Automatic menus using the "Healsio Tray", which makes it easy to cook for 1-2 people, have also been expanded. The top model <AX-LSX3D> now supports new menus "Quick Grill" and "Quick Steam" that can create grilled or steamed side dishes in about 15 minutes. Furthermore, the <AX-LSX3D> has expanded its automatic menus for steaming dishes using a bamboo steamer, which has become increasingly popular in recent years. Users can easily make a breakfast set of warm vegetables, egg dishes, and bread (reheating), or steamed cakes, all with a single bamboo steamer. It supports various sizes of bamboo steamers (*4) and automatically adjusts the heating.
