No.1 Taxi App "GO" and Navigation App for Foreign Tourists "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" Begin Collaboration

GO Inc. (CEO: Hiroshi Nakajima, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and NAVITIME JAPAN Co., Ltd. (CEO: Keisuke Onishi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced that starting July 8, 2026 (Wed), the "Taxi Dispatch" function will be available on the navigation app for foreign tourists, "Japan Travel by NAVITIME," through functional integration with GO Inc.'s No.1* taxi app, "GO."

"Japan Travel by NAVITIME" is an app for foreign tourists with over 2 million monthly active users across its app and web services. Through this initiative, users can hail taxis from all 47 prefectures in Japan that are part of the "GO" network directly from within "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" after searching for a route. Within "Japan Travel by NAVITIME," users can complete their taxi order, including specifying pickup and drop-off locations and selecting vehicle types, as well as payment, all in one stop. By integrating the No.1 taxi app with a navigation app for foreign tourists, we aim to contribute to improving the travel convenience for inbound visitors.

Through a seamless taxi ride experience within the app resulting from this collaboration, both companies hope to meet the unique travel needs of inbound tourists, such as traveling with heavy luggage, during late night/early morning hours, or accessing rural areas, and support them in enjoying their sightseeing in Japan more comfortably.

Taxis can be dispatched considering pickup and drop-off locations via the "Dispatch" button displayed in the search results of the "Car Route" function or in the car travel segments of the "Total Navigation" function, which combines public transportation and walking, within the "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" app. Particularly in areas around airports where demand is high, the in-app airport pickup points will be designated as boarding locations, making it easier to meet the vehicle. Users can also check the estimated arrival time of the taxi and the vehicle's license plate number. A messaging function with the driver is also available, allowing for the sending of preset messages and displaying messages from the driver translated into multiple languages. Payment methods include credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

This is a travel navigation app for foreign visitors to Japan. It offers functions to consistently support users from pre-trip planning and booking, through travel and movement, to post-trip experience sharing, in 13 languages*.

Key functions include door-to-door route search, walking navigation, car navigation, taxi dispatch, spot search (free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, etc.), travel articles, trip planning, itinerary posting, model courses, and hotel/activity booking.
