Atsushi Kamijo's Music Manga 'TO-Y' 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Store Opens at Hands Omiya on June 1

CRAZY BUMP Co., Ltd., which organizes and operates subculture-themed exhibitions including manga, anime, and special effects, has announced details for the 'TO-Y 40th Anniversary POP UP STORE in Omiya', to be held at the Hands Omiya store from June 1 (Mon) to June 23 (Tue), 2026.

Set in the 1980s music industry, the series features Atsushi Kamijo's stylish pop art, revolutionary music expression, and the passionate feelings of beloved characters. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1985 to 1987, 'TO-Y' is an immortal masterpiece that perfectly captured the atmosphere of the 80s music scene, following To-y Fujii, the charismatic vocalist of an indie band. To mark the 40th anniversary of this masterpiece—which influenced not only the comic industry but many future musicians—the 'TO-Y 40th Anniversary POP UP STORE', previously held at Nakano Broadway's Hakaba no Garou in 2025, is now coming to Hands Omiya!

The pop-up store will feature unique presentations typical of Hakaba no Garou, showcasing fascinating characters like To-y Fujii, Niya, Yoji Aikawa, and the members of GASP. With a lineup of famous scenes and quotes, it fully recreates the world of 'TO-Y', drawing in both real-time fans and new modern followers.

Furthermore, an extensive lineup of official band merchandise for groups that appeared in the story, such as 'GASP' and 'Penicillin Shock', will be available. This includes staple apparel items like T-shirts, jackets, and bandanas, as well as collectible items like acrylic keychains, stickers, and tin badges. 80s-inspired fancy goods and numerous original products filled with love for music will also be sold.

This is a special project dedicated to all music and TO-Y fans, allowing them to reunite with the timeless world of 'TO-Y' across 40 years.
