Creek & River Co. (C&R Co.) will hold a free online seminar "Mastering the Basics! Easy English Grammar Course Day 3: Connecting Words and Sentences! ~Tips for Conjunctions~" on May 20, 2026 (Wednesday), targeting those who are not good at English or want to learn English from the basics.

In recent years, globalization in the creative industry has further advanced, and opportunities to work with overseas creators in production sites and projects are increasing. In such a situation, many people may have stumbled over junior high school English, developed a苦手意識 (sense of aversion) to English, or forgotten it after a long time away. C&R Co. holds a seminar series for such super-beginner English learners.

The instructor is Mika Kaida, who has over 15 years of experience as an English instructor and extensive experience teaching those who are not good at English. In the third session, she will cover basic conjunctions, which are often called "connecting words." In addition to their basic meanings, she will also explain "when patterns don't go smoothly between English and Japanese" and "pronunciation tips" useful for speaking and listening. By practicing reading aloud with simple sentences while grasping pronunciation and rhythm tips, participants can expect effects such as "English coming out more smoothly," "becoming easier to understand," and "listening becoming easier to hear."
