Creek & River Co., Ltd. (C&R) will hold a free online seminar on Thursday, June 18, for creators in the web industry titled "AI Cannot Replace Designers: The Limits of AI Design and the Roles Only Humans Can Fulfill." The seminar will be conducted entirely in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in Japanese. AI has evolved to the point where it can generate UI designs in seconds, producing many designs that look "good" at first glance. However, AI does not "think" while designing; it merely copies and combines existing trends and patterns. Truly effective UI cannot be created through simple copying. It requires understanding project objectives, user needs, and human psychology to make informed design decisions. This is why AI cannot replace design that relies on human thought and understanding. C&R is hosting this seminar to focus on the limits of AI design and the unique roles humans must play. The lecturer, Jacob Nelson, has held leadership positions at numerous global and local companies. He will clarify the limitations of AI and the strengths of humans, explaining the design mindset required for the future.
