C&R Corporation (C&R) is hosting a free online seminar titled 'What’s Wrong with This Design? Design Fundamentals Vol.3 & Vol.4' for designers working in fields such as web, video, gaming, advertising, publishing, fashion, and interior design. Vol.3 will be held on August 6 (Thu), and Vol.4 on August 20 (Thu), 2026.
Design is not merely about creating visually appealing appearances; it is a widely used process and methodology for strategically constructing solutions to achieve specific goals. It plays a crucial role across various domains, including product aesthetics and functionality, advertising, and the usability of websites and apps. Having fundamental design knowledge is essential not only for graphic and web designers but also for video creators, directors, marketers, and all professionals engaged in creative work. To support this, C&R has invited Keiichi Masuda, who not only manages qualifications and develops educational materials in graphic design, web design, and video production but also serves as a lecturer at vocational schools, to lead this seminar. Participants will collaboratively analyze real design examples and learn the fundamentals of design through a question-based, interactive format.
The third session will focus on 'Color Theory Basics,' while the fourth will explore 'Design History.' These sessions are ideal for those beginning their design journey or looking to move beyond self-taught methods toward a more systematic understanding. Those interested are encouraged to participate.
