'TOPICS 6: Applying the Business Structure of Sports to Public-Private Partnerships—Diversifying PPP Beyond Physical Infrastructure Projects'

Hidehito Kawahara (Kawahara Hidehito) Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, in 1960. Graduated from the Department of Architecture, College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, in 1983, and joined the Agricultural Land Development Public Corporation. After working at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), he joined Yamashita Sekkei in 1991. In 1999, he transferred to Yamashita PMC, where he led projects such as the Hitachi Maxell Tokyo Headquarters Building and the Takeda Pharmaceutical Shonan Research Institute (which received the Second Grand Prix at the International CM Awards), bringing transformative changes to project execution and architectural perspectives in the construction industry. He has served as President and Chairman of the Board, and in 2023 founded ALFA PMC Co., Ltd. He is a First-Class Architect, Certified Construction Manager, Certified Facility Manager, a member of the B.LEAGUE Licensing Review Committee and Future Vision Committee, and a member of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives.
