Creek & River Co., Ltd. (C&R) will host a free online seminar series titled 'Chris's Lunchtime English Conversation' every Thursday in October, offering a fun and accessible way to learn English in just 15 minutes during lunchtime. The series includes two tracks: 'Daily Life & Architecture' and 'Healthcare English'.

In recent years, globalization has accelerated across industries, increasing opportunities to work with international colleagues on production sites and projects. In response, C&R is hosting this seminar series under the theme of 'learning English while enjoying yourself,' providing an easy and engaging way to engage with the language.

Each Thursday features two themes: 'Daily Life & Architecture' and 'Healthcare English'. The instructor is Chris Larimore, who has lived in Japan for nearly 30 years and currently manages language education programs at C&R. Each session lasts only 15 minutes—participants can even join while eating lunch. This seminar is perfect for those who want to learn English, need it for work, or are considering expanding overseas. Everyone with interest is welcome to join!

With 20 years of experience at global language companies, Chris has taught diverse classes including corporate, university, children’s, and TOEIC programs. He currently manages Japanese-language education for foreigners and English-language education for Japanese at C&R. An American originally, he moved to Japan nearly 30 years ago and lives in downtown Tokyo with his wife, son, daughter, and two pet turtles. He enjoys American football, craft beer, Japanese history, and local festivals!
