Crypton Future Media, Inc. (Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido, Representative Director: Hiroyuki Ito) is pleased to announce that virtual singer "Hatsune Miku" will appear in the first pitch ceremony alongside VTuber Suisei Hoshimachi at the "Chiba Lotte Marines vs. Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks" game to be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium on July 20, 2026 (Monday, holiday).

This collaboration was realized thanks to the new commercial for Lotte's "Coolish" and "Soh" titled "Cold and Blue, Summer Has Arrived," featuring Suisei Hoshimachi. The song they sing in the commercial is "Ao no Sumika" (Lyrics and Music: Tatsuya Kitani), named after the "blue" brand color common to "Coolish" and "Soh," creating a refreshing piece that accompanies summer moments.

To commemorate the release of this commercial, in addition to the first pitch ceremony appearance, multiple projects are planned, including collaboration rooms at Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho and a train takeover on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. ▼What is "Hatsune Miku"? https://piapro.net/

A singing voice synthesis software planned and developed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. in 2007, which allows users to input lyrics and melodies to make it sing. The character depicted on the package has a distinctive blue-green twin-tail hairstyle. The numerous songs created with this software posted on the internet sparked a chain reaction of creative works including illustrations, songs, and dances, becoming a cultural phenomenon.

She has since become active in various fields as a "virtual singer." In Japan, the event "Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai," which combines live performances with opportunities to experience the joy of creation, has attracted over 580,000 attendees cumulatively since 2013. In 2026, it will be held in three cities: OSAKA, TOKYO, and HAMAMATSU. Internationally, Hatsune Miku's world tour series "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO" has toured 55 cities with 139 performances. The North American tour has already concluded in 2026, and a European tour is scheduled for November. In addition to events, various related content, such as collaborations with traditional performing arts and renowned artists, are being developed both domestically and internationally.
