SHISHAMO's Live Performance

The final act of the two-day festival was SHISHAMO, who are scheduled to hold their last concert on June 13-14 at Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, the band's hometown.

Following an introduction by MC Ando, bassist Aya Matsuoka and vocalist/guitarist Asako Miyazaki appeared on stage. The set kicked off with "Kimi to Natsu Fes" after Miyazaki rallied the crowd with chants of "Kome Fes! Kome Fes!!"

They performed tracks like "Kimi no Me mo Hana mo Kuchi mo Ago mo Mayu mo nete mo same te mo chou suteki!!!" and "Favorite Boy." During the first MC, Miyazaki humorously admitted she had dressed too warmly, expecting it to be cold at night in Niigata, which led to a heartwarming interaction with the fans.

This was SHISHAMO's second appearance at the Kome-Hyappyo Fes. Miyazaki shared that after performing for the first time last year, she fell in love with the event and requested to be invited back this year. They also reminisced about being deeply moved by the Nagaoka fireworks last year.

Miyazaki explained that after the live set, fireworks would be launched in sync with their music, adding that they had looked forward to this day, knowing it would be unforgettable. They then performed emotional songs about farewells, such as "Natsu no Koibito," "Happy End," and "Unmei to Yonde mo Ii desu ka."

Towards the end of the set, they played high-tempo tracks like "Nerau wa Kimi no Domannaka" and "Saikou Sokudo," before concluding with their hit "Ashita mo." As Miyazaki sang with her gentle voice and played the guitar, many fans in the audience watched on in tears.

At the end of the final song, the three members cheered together and exchanged smiles of appreciation with their fans.
