Daicel Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Yasuhiro Sakaki) is implementing its 'Overseas Presentation and Study Abroad Support Scholarship Program' for the 2026 fiscal year, continuing from the previous year. This initiative aims to support the international endeavors of high school students and foster next-generation researchers who will lead future innovation, as well as to co-create value with society.
Launched in the 2025 fiscal year, this grant-based support system is targeted at high school students who plan and undertake activities with academic or social significance and aim to grow through experiences abroad.
Applicants can either find their own international presentation or study abroad opportunities or receive recommendations from their school or supervising faculty. Applications must be submitted by the students themselves.
Daicel believes that students presenting their own research and inquiry results internationally, or deepening their learning through study abroad and exposure to different cultures, will have a significant impact on their future career paths and lives.
Furthermore, through results presentation meetings, the company encourages interaction between Daicel's management, researchers, and participating students to support their growth.
