A collaborative event themed around DAISO's original trading card game "Mushi Jingu" (蟲神器), titled "Sanshu Sai" (蚕蟲祭) Vol. 3 - Mushi Jingu: Tomioka Silk Mill Battle - will be held at World Heritage site "Tomioka Silk Mill" and other locations in Gunma Prefecture from Saturday, July 25, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026.
"Sanshu Sai" was first held as a collaborative event with Tomioka Silk Mill in the summer of 2025, prompted by the "Mushi Jingu Popular Insect Voting" held in 2025, where "Silkworm (Adult)" was voted number one. Starting from the second event, the scope expanded to the town of Tomioka. This third iteration will be a tour-style event covering Tomioka Silk Mill, Gunma Museum of Natural History, Konjac Park, Gunma Prefectural World Heritage Center Sekaito, and Gunma Safari Park, in addition to Tomioka Silk Mill. The event will feature plans that can be enjoyed not only by Mushi Jingu fans but also by families enjoying their summer vacation outings, such as the distribution of limited-edition cards, a stamp rally covering four locations with sticker distribution, face-in-hole photo panels, and the sale of collaboration sweets, as well as Mushi Jingu tournaments. For details, please refer to the official X account of the Sanshu Sai Executive Committee.

What is Mushi Jingu?
DAISO's "Mushi Jingu" is an original trading card game with insects as motifs, allowing players to become familiar with insects and nature while playing, and to deepen relationships with family and friends. In addition to popular insects such as rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles, it also features motifs of familiar insects like praying mantises, spiders, grasshoppers, and longhorn beetles, as well as rare insects found only overseas.
