New Large-Scale Hostel 'GRAND HOSTEL LDK Osaka Shinsekai' Opens in Shinsekai, Osaka on June 18

Daiwa LifeNext Corporation, part of the Daiwa House Group, will open 'GRAND HOSTEL LDK Osaka Shinsekai,' the fifth facility under its 'GRAND HOSTEL LDK' brand, on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

With a capacity of up to 252 guests, the facility features communal spaces designed to foster interaction, along with diverse room types ranging from dormitories to private hotel rooms. It also includes a limited-edition special guest room called the 'Diorama Room,' featuring motifs of Osaka's cityscape and railways.

Based on the concept 'Traveler's place, your home,' the facility emphasizes interaction in its lounges and shared kitchens. It is also equipped with a prayer room, gender-neutral restrooms, and barrier-free rooms.

The 'Diorama Room' was realized with the cooperation of the landowner, Hankai Tramway Co., Ltd. Guests can operate model trains on a diorama recreating the Osaka cityscape using six control panels. The diorama also allows guests to enjoy footage of the trains captured by cameras on the room's monitor.

The facility offers three room types: dormitories (mixed and women-only), group rooms, and hotel rooms. Security is ensured through elevator floor security and card-key access for room entrances.
