Tokyo Denki University to Host FA Lecture 'Decorative Space That Evokes Emotion'

Tokyo Denki University (President: Tada-hiko Ibamoto) will hold an FA lecture by the Faculty of Future Science, Department of Architecture, on Friday, July 10, at its Tokyo Senju Campus, featuring architects Yuji Mukaiyama and Yushi Sasada from the architectural collective 'ULTRA STUDIO.'

'ULTRA STUDIO,' co-led by Yuji Mukaiyama, Yushi Sasada, and Arisa Ueno, was formed in 2013. Having gained experience in both Japan and Europe, they have been based in Tokyo since 2018. Their notable works include 'House of Afterimage,' 'Uehara Slope Apartment,' and 'TATOU TSUNEISHI.' They have received awards such as the 'Residential Architecture Award 2024' and the '51st Tokyo Architecture Award: Rookie of the Year.'

In this lecture, titled 'Decorative Space That Evokes Emotion,' the speakers will discuss their design philosophy.
