Dentsu Soken Obtains "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification" Aligned with International Standard "ISO 25554:2024"

Dentsu Soken Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirohisa Iwamoto; hereinafter referred to as "Dentsu Soken"), which realizes the evolution of companies and society through technology, is pleased to announce that its "Well-being Lab" within the Consulting Division has obtained the "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification" accredited by the Japan Institute for Social Health Strategy. This is the 8th company in Japan to receive this certification.

Based on our achievement of obtaining certification in compliance with the international standard "ISO 25554:2024" and the registration of our employees as "Certification Support Consultants" for this certification system, we will begin offering consulting services to support companies in promoting well-being.

Background

Following the issuance of the international standard "ISO 25554:2024" in November 2024, a movement to evaluate corporate well-being initiatives is gaining momentum, with the world's first "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification" system starting in Japan in January 2026, accredited by the Japan Institute for Social Health Strategy as a third-party certification body.

Dentsu Soken has, through its "Well-being Lab" in the Consulting Division, consistently practiced initiatives themed around "Balancing the well-being of communities with value creation." Now, with the "Well-being Lab" having obtained the "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification," we are ready to launch full-scale consulting services related to well-being for our client companies and society.

About Well-being Consulting Services

As "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification" Support Consultants, we will leverage the knowledge gained from our past research and practices to provide the following support:

1. Evaluation and Current Status Analysis of Well-being Promotion Activities

We will objectively evaluate the current state of an organization based on the international standard "ISO 25554:2024."

2. Support for Application for "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification"

About "Well-being ISO Guideline Certification"

In November 2024, the international standard ISO 25554:2024, "Aging societies — Guidelines for promoting well-being in communities and organizations," developed under Japan's leadership, was published. Following this, in January 2026, the world's first certification system was launched, with the Japan Institute for Social Health Strategy serving as the third-party certification body. This system provides a mechanism for organizations such as companies and local governments to externally communicate and appeal their well-being initiatives with objectivity and credibility. Starting with the "Pre-certification" obtained by "Well-being Lab" this time, certification levels from 1 to 3 are established according to the progress of initiatives.
