To everyone who wishes to change
The key to breaking through your current situation lies in actions of just "5%"!
When we feel troubled or stuck, we tend to try to find answers solely within our minds. "How can I improve this situation?" "Why isn't it working?" "How can I change?" -- While continuing to think about these questions, many of us may have experienced time passing by without taking any action.
To change your current situation, "action" is necessary. However, taking a big leap all at once can be a significant psychological burden and can actually prevent you from moving. Therefore, the author and psychological counselor, Li Songwei, proposes "5% Change," which involves not forcing yourself to change, but trying a slightly different approach in your daily life. This book, which introduces this approach, has been supported by many readers in China and has become a bestseller.
The book contains 44 exchanges between the author and clients regarding a wide range of concerns, including career, relationships, romance, and family environment. The clients are not presented with dramatic solutions. "You don't have to desire drastic change all at once. First, try a new approach for just 5% in your daily life for one week." The process is recorded, and the changes that occurred after one week are traced.
How do your feelings change before and after taking small actions? What kind of movement occurs in a stagnant situation? As you read through the struggles and changes of 44 people, you will surely feel that the reality before your eyes can begin to move even with a small action. This is a book that will give courage to everyone who wishes to change their current situation and move forward.
