Yukio Ninagawa 10th Anniversary Tribute Screening and Talk Show

Saitama Prefecture and NHK will co-host the tribute event '10th Anniversary of Death: Looking Back on Stage Director Yukio Ninagawa' on July 4, 2026 (14:00-16:30), at SKIP City Sai-no-Kuni Visual Plaza in Kawaguchi City. The event commemorates the 10th anniversary of the passing of the Kawaguchi-native stage director. Part 1 features video screenings, including Saitama's special PR program 'Making of Ninagawa Shakespeare' and a selected NHK program. After a 10-minute break, Part 2 hosts a talk show titled 'Talking about Work with Yukio Ninagawa' with actor Katsumi Kiba, translator Kazuko Matsuoka, and theater journalist Hiroko Yamaguchi. Admission is free, but prior registration is required for the 300 first-come, first-served seats. The event is organized by Saitama Prefecture, with support from NHK Saitama and Saitama Arts Foundation.
