Special Workshop by TAKT PROJECT Held at 'Dior Bamboo Pavilion'

The 'Dior Bamboo Pavilion' in Daikanyama, Tokyo, features a facade that reinterprets the essence of '30 Montaigne' using bamboo. The 'Timeless Room,' where visitors can feel the maison's inherited heritage, is characterized by works inspired by 'Cannage.' TAKT PROJECT, the creative studio that reinterpreted the essential silhouette of 'Cannage' for the 'Dior Bamboo Pavilion,' will host a special workshop.

Hand-woven glass 'Cannage,' created through a unique process, is encapsulated in resin, transforming into transparent furniture. This iconic motif, cherished by the maison, infuses the traditional with a contemporary spirit. TAKT PROJECT is a creative studio that envisions unique concepts driven by research and stimulating collaborations. They aim for innovation by pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship and imagination, using design as a thoughtful, intuitive, and delicate tool.

In this workshop, following an introduction of representative works by TAKT PROJECT, participants will view art pieces featuring the 'Cannage' motif displayed in the 'Timeless Room,' and then experience dyeing coasters using plant-based dyes at the 'Dior Bamboo Pavilion.'
