The Hong Kong Tourism Board has partnered with the Trip.com Group to offer benefits totaling over 200 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately 4.1 billion yen) across 19 tourist attractions and 3 transportation services. From June 17, 2026 (Wed) to August 31, 2026 (Mon), travelers who book eligible hotels through Trip.com or Ctrip and have a single payment of 1,500 Hong Kong dollars or more can obtain the 'Summer Getaway Pack,' which includes discounts (up to 50% off) on one tourist attraction and one transportation service. The eligible stay period for this campaign is from July 1, 2026 (Wed) to September 14, 2026 (Mon). The "Sun Life Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival," held from June 19, 2026 (Fri) to July 1, 2026 (Wed), will mark the beginning of summer. The centerpiece of this event is the 50th anniversary of the "Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Race," organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, co-organized by the Hong Kong Chinese Dragon Boat Association, and sponsored by Sun Life. On June 27, 2026 (Sat) and June 28, 2026 (Sun), over 220 teams from 16 countries and regions will compete in 21 races at the waterfront of Tsim Sha Tsui.
For the first time, this year's event has expanded to a 13-day "Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival" from June 19, 2026 (Fri) to July 1, 2026 (Wed). At Avenue of Stars, you can enjoy dragon boat food stalls and beer gardens. Additionally, the "Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Race Co-Creation Zone" will feature a 22-meter-long traditional wooden dragon boat display and various photo spots, including theme decorations in collaboration with the new movie "Minions & Monsters."

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will host the inaugural "Pixar Summer Fest." Popular Pixar characters will appear, and the park will be filled with vibrant spaces where you can enjoy immersive experiences. The highlight is the new night show "Pixar Pals Spectacular." For approximately 8 minutes, shining drones, fountains, projection mapping across the Castle of Magical Dreams and Main Street USA, and giant inflatable balloons will come together to vividly express the stories of friendship depicted in Pixar's masterpieces.
