Learn with Friends, Protect the Future! Coleman Presents Animal Planet "Green College 2026 Okinawa Kunigami," a Camp to Nurture a Conservation Mindset in Elementary School Students

Discovery Japan, operator of the world-class animal and nature channel Animal Planet, held the "Coleman Presents Animal Planet Green College 2026 Okinawa Kunigami" from March 26, 2026. The event's purpose was to provide a venue for children to experience, learn about, and understand nature and wildlife through the outdoors, thereby increasing their interest in the environment. The camp, for elementary students from 4th to 6th grade, allowed them to learn about outdoor life and environmental issues while away from their parents. Through activities like setting up tents, beach cleaning, mangrove exploration, kayaking, and harvesting taro, the children deepened their sense of teamwork and awareness of environmental issues in an invaluable experience.
