General machinery trading company Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. will exhibit at the 'Data Center Summit,' a special project of 'Interop Tokyo 2026,' held at Makuhari Messe for three days from Wednesday, June 10, to Friday, June 12, 2026. The company will showcase technologies addressing data center operational challenges, such as power supply and PUE/WUE reduction.
Proposing an Integrated System from Power Generation to Waste Heat Utilization Cooling By utilizing industrial fuel cells powered by city gas or natural gas, the company generates clean, efficient electricity with over 60% power generation efficiency through electrochemical reactions. Leveraging existing gas infrastructure enables early power supply independent of the grid, significantly shortening the data center launch period.
Furthermore, the company proposes a system to reduce PUE and WUE through hybrid cooling that effectively utilizes waste heat. Heat generated during power production is recovered by waste heat recovery cooling equipment and combined with Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.'s ejector chillers, Kannetsu Co., Ltd.'s dry coolers, and Nidec Corporation's CDUs to achieve optimal water-cooled/air-cooled cooling. This dual approach of reusing waste heat and efficient cooling contributes to lower environmental impact and improved energy efficiency in data centers.
