Dole Japan, Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO Hiroshi Aoki) announced the launch of 'Dole Monster Dragon', a large-sized, red-fleshed dragon fruit imported from Vietnam. This new product is about twice the size of Dole's conventional dragon fruits, offering a sweet and juicy taste. Dole has previously offered 'Dole Dragon Fruit Red' and 'Dole Dragon Fruit White'. Red-fleshed dragon fruit contains betacyanin, a polyphenol, and is rich in nutrients like magnesium, vitamin B1, potassium, and folic acid. Despite its rugged exterior, its skin is easy to peel by hand. The product will be sold sequentially starting in late May 2026 at supermarkets nationwide. Through this high-impact product, Dole aims to attract younger generations who eat less fruit. Dole Japan was founded in 1965, established in 1982, has 177 employees, and generated 57.6 billion yen in revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2025. Dole continues to deliver smiles through fruits.
