dSPACE Japan K.K. has strengthened its engineering support for virtual ECU (V-ECU) generation through a partnership with TechnoPro, Inc. By combining TechnoPro’s extensive knowledge in ECU development with dSPACE’s simulation technology, the partnership provides customers with practical and scalable development support, enabling early verification without physical hardware. In the automotive industry, as the transition to Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) accelerates, the need for virtualization and SIL verification in virtual environments from the early stages of ECU development is rapidly increasing. V-ECU is a technology that enables software verification as a substitute for physical ECUs, allowing for verification from the early stages of development. It is gaining attention for its ability to significantly contribute to reducing development costs, improving quality, and shortening lead times.
