Project Background Dwango Co., Ltd. has officially launched "BEYOND BORDERs," a project designed to connect Japan's unique Vocaloid culture with the international music scene. The first wave of participating Vocaloid producers, music producers, and songwriters has been announced. The collaborative tracks created through this project will debut at "JAPAN MUSIC VOCALOID at Anime Expo 2026," held during the North American anime convention "ANIME EXPO 2026" (July 2–5, 2026, in Los Angeles). Following the debut, the songs will see a sequence of single releases, leading to a worldwide simultaneous release between summer and autumn 2026.

Supported by the "Creator Support Fund," Dwango is promoting a project to discover young creators involved in Vocaloid music and help them develop into creators with global influence. "BEYOND BORDERs" is a key component of this initiative. In this project, domestic producers active in the Vocaloid scene will co-write and co-produce singles and EPs with leading producers and songwriters from the US. By launching these completed tracks into the international market, the project aims to facilitate the global expansion of the participating creators.

Participating Creators From Japan, Vocaloid producers active in "The VOCALOID Collection," including Satapan-P, picco, and jon-YAKITORY, are participating. With the cooperation of the partner company Nebula17, top-tier global producers and songwriters have joined the project. Writers such as Scoot, Grant Boutin, Bird, Zensei, and Cecil Believe will manage A&R strategy and song localization for the US market. The tracks will feature the virtual singer software "Hatsune Miku" as the main vocal, with additional guest performances from globally acclaimed artists to be announced.
