Dynamic Map Platform Axyz Co., Ltd. (Axyz), a group company of Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Shuichi Yoshimura), announced that its 'SRSS' snow removal support system has been adopted by Noto Airport. It was utilized for snow removal operations during the 2025 winter season, marking the first time SRSS has been implemented for airport snow removal.

Noto Airport has faced ongoing challenges in securing experienced snow removal personnel due to the impact of recovery efforts following the January 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Furthermore, some airport lights were removed due to restoration work, resulting in fewer landmarks and making it difficult for operators to grasp their vehicle's position. Axyz's 'SRSS' applies high-precision 3D map data, also used for autonomous vehicles, to visualize hidden elements such as shoulders, manholes, and original light positions on a tablet device. This supports smooth and safe snow removal even for inexperienced operators or in low-visibility conditions.

Feedback from operators who used the system included comments such as: 'It became easier to grasp structure and boundary positions, reducing near-misses,' 'It helped me understand where to drive even at night or during heavy snow,' and 'Stops to check positions were reduced, making the overall work smoother.' Dynamic Map Platform aims to continue innovating across various industries to solve social issues using high-precision 3D data.
