Background of Exhibition

For many years, our company has explored the potential health benefits of rush and successfully commercialized "Rush Extract Powder SH," a unique health food ingredient. In a super-aging society where interest in "brain health" is rapidly increasing, we are confident that this material can contribute to enhancing the value of new products for companies involved in health food and supplement development.

To directly introduce this groundbreaking new material to industry professionals and create opportunities for business collaboration, we have decided to participate in this exhibition.

Rush extract containing Dehydroefsole showed potential to improve both cognitive and motor functions.

Exhibition Content

At our booth, we will showcase 'Rush Extract Powder SH,' which supports brain health.

Birth of Rush Extract Powder SH

As a manufacturer dealing with rush materials, Hagiwara Co., Ltd. sought to explore the true power of this plant. Through detailed analysis of each component, we discovered 'Efsole' and 'Dehydroefsole,' previously unknown components unique to rush.

These are components with a very unique structure (a phenanthrene skeleton, like the analgesic morphine). Given their high lipid solubility and low water solubility, our research began with the hypothesis: "Could this component, upon oral ingestion, reach the brain and act on nerves?"
