Overview Hagihara Corporation (Headquarters: Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture) will participate in 'Connext Japan Jakarta Ennichi,' held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 23 (Sat) and 24 (Sun), 2026.

This exhibition aims to share the charm of Japanese culture by showcasing furniture and lifestyle goods made from 'Igusa' (rush grass), a traditional Japanese material.

The Charm of Igusa The exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to touch and experience Igusa products, allowing them to feel the natural scent, gentle texture, and comfort unique to this material. Igusa has long supported Japanese tatami culture and is known for its relaxing scent and smooth feel. Through this event, we hope to share the culture and comfort of Japanese living with international audiences.

Main Exhibits The booth will feature a variety of products, including:

- **'Tatami-za' with Storage**: A modular tatami unit that creates a tatami space without renovation, featuring built-in storage. - **'Kurama' 4-Fold Tatami Mattress**: A mattress with moisture-regulating properties, finished with a smooth weave that can be folded for space-saving storage. - **'Ayakawa' Cuttable Tatami Mat**: A versatile mat available in 6 colors, usable like a rug in various rooms. - **'Nature' Igusa Sandals**: Made in Japan, utilizing woven 'Igusa' ropes for durability and comfort.

Additional items such as slippers, pillows, and cushions will also be on display.

Future Outlook We are focusing on product development tailored to the Indonesian market. By proposing designs that align with local lifestyles, we aim to provide an experience where visitors can appreciate the quality and technical prowess of our products. Moving forward, we are committed to spreading Igusa culture and exploring new possibilities in overseas markets.
