Tokyo and e-Mobility Power (President: Kotaro Ikagame) have established a new public road charging station in the Kamioosaki area of Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, installing two EV rapid chargers, with services commencing on March 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This new station expands charging options in central Tokyo, making it more convenient for EV and PHEV users. The company is working with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to promote EV charger adoption as part of the 'Zero Emission Tokyo' initiative, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050. The station is located near Shinagawa Ward, Kamioosaki, specifically at 3-14-30 Kamioosaki, Shinagawa Ward, along Tokyo Metropolitan Road 418. The chargers are New Japan Radio (Shin-Etsu Chemical) manufactured 50kW/port rapid chargers (2 ports total), supporting CHAdeMO and OCPP standards. Charging is available 24 hours, with a maximum of 30 minutes per session. The fee includes a parking ticket fee of 300 JPY, plus charging costs determined by the charging card used. Visitor use is also available.
