Eco Ring Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, hereinafter "Eco Ring") has recently signed a "Cooperative Agreement on the Supply of Materials During Disasters" with Hiroshima Prefecture.
This agreement aims to provide prompt support materials in the event of a disaster or the possibility of a disaster occurring within Hiroshima Prefecture. It establishes a system for providing reusable items, which are constantly stockpiled at Eco Ring's 341 stores nationwide (as of June 1, 2026) and logistics bases in each area, to the necessary locations when needed.
Eco Ring is working to solve social issues through its reuse business and has been seeking to strengthen its system for quickly responding to the needs of disaster-stricken areas during disaster support. Based on the experience of providing materials using reused items for the first time as a company during the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa 6 (2024), Eco Ring wished to further expand this initiative in cooperation with local governments nationwide. Consequently, the company has entered into this partnership agreement with Hiroshima Prefecture, which has agreed with Eco Ring's aspirations.
A signing ceremony was held on June 11, 2026, at the Hiroshima Prefectural Office, attended by Mr. Koji Yamamoto, Crisis Management Supervisor of Hiroshima Prefecture, where the agreement was exchanged.
