[Event Report] New Project "Educhalle" Kicked Off! (Held March 17, 2026)

Eduship Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Sojiro Sato) held a kickoff event on March 17, 2026, for "Educhalle," a new project that connects the resolution of challenges in schools with the power of private companies.

On the day, representatives from private companies interested in solving school challenges (approx. 40 companies and 80 individuals) gathered. Enthusiastic discussions took place regarding the real issues schools face, such as labor and budget shortages, and a new form of co-creation that uses the assets of the school teaching materials industry as a platform for solutions.

Part 1: Creating a mechanism where the school teaching materials industry acts as a "connector" to support education with private sector power

Sojiro Sato, Chairman of the Educhalle Executive Committee, pointed out that the current state of public schools is an "additive structure" where new tasks are layered on top of limited personnel and budgets. He warned that many elementary and junior high schools in Japan are facing this structural challenge.

"Administrative work is crowding out the core educational duties required of teachers. There is a limit to what can be solved within the school setting alone. By combining the power of private companies, we can bring about dramatic changes to the field."

Educhalle's secretariat is Eduship Inc., established in collaboration with Kyoiku Dojinsha Co., Ltd., which has a history of over 90 years as Japan's first creator of school teaching materials.
