Environmental Friendly Holdings Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Growth Market: 3777) announces today that its consolidated subsidiary, AI Tech Tomakomai Co., Ltd. (ATT), has commenced construction of a 66kV extra-high-voltage substation for its AI data center project in Tomakomai, Hokkaido.

This construction is based on the construction subcontracting agreement with YourTech Co., Ltd., announced on June 19, 2026, and aims to establish the large-capacity power supply infrastructure essential for AI data center operations.

Transition to the Next Phase of the AI Data Center Project

Our group has now transitioned the Tomakomai AI Data Center project from the planning and preparation phase to full-scale infrastructure construction, following the subsidiary acquisition and land acquisition of AI Tech Tomakomai on May 29, 2026, and the signing of the 66kV substation construction contract on June 19, 2026.

This project involves building core power infrastructure designed for a future AI data center with a receiving capacity of up to 50MW, making it a central component of our group’s 'GX×AI Infrastructure' strategy.

Concurrent Advancement of Phase I and Phase II

The Tomakomai AI Data Center project plans:

Phase I: Early commercialization of an AI data center with a 10MW supply capacity (scheduled to begin operations in October 2026)

Phase II: Gradual expansion to a 50MW supply capacity utilizing 66kV extra-high-voltage power reception equipment (scheduled to begin operations in December 2027)

The current 66kV substation construction serves as the core of Phase II infrastructure development while also supporting Phase I operations, enabling future scalability in power supply capacity.

Steady Progress in AI Infrastructure Business

Currently, our group is advancing not only the development of AI data center facilities but also ongoing discussions with domestic and international AI cloud service providers.

Moving forward, we will progressively promote:

- Development of AI data center facilities

- Construction of power infrastructure

- Discussions with domestic and international customers

- Full-scale deployment of the AI infrastructure business

and will continue to provide timely and appropriate updates on project progress.
