QuizKnock, Ikue Sakakibara, and Masashi Mikami Appointed Special Supporters for GREEN×EXPO 2027 - To Energize Yokohama Green Expo Together

The GREEN×EXPO Association (Official Name: Public Interest Incorporated Association 2027 International Horticultural Exhibition Association, Chairman: Yoshinobu Tsutsui, Location: Naka-ku, Yokohama) has established the "GREEN×EXPO 2027 Special Supporters" on July 8, 2026 (Wed), and for the first phase, QuizKnock, Ms. Ikue Sakakibara, and Mr. Masashi Mikami have been appointed.

Leveraging the communication power of those appointed, they will actively promote the appeal and value of GREEN×EXPO 2027 through their daily activities, including social media posts.

Moving forward, we will continue to appoint individuals from various fields as supporters to energize GREEN×EXPO together, cooperating in building momentum and conducting proactive promotional activities to foster nationwide information dissemination.

QuizKnock is a media outlet centered around quiz king Takumi Izawa, merging entertainment and knowledge. With the concept of "learning that begins with fun," they deliver articles and videos daily that serve as a trigger to "know" something.

Their YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/QuizKnock) channel has surpassed 2.6 million subscribers. They are currently developing the "QuizKnock 10th Anniversary Project" leading up to their 10th anniversary on October 2, 2026.

Born in 1959. Hails from Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Won the Grand Prix at the 1st Horipro Talent Scout Caravan in 1976 and debuted in '77.

Her 1978 single "Natsu no Ojousan" became a major hit, establishing her status as an idol.

She played the role of Peter Pan for seven years in the musical "Peter Pan," and has since been active in dramas, stage plays, and variety shows.

She is currently appearing in the stage play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." Her husband was the late Toru Watanabe, and her sons are Yuta Watanabe and Takuya Watanabe.

<Horticultural Designer Masashi Mikami>

As a horticultural designer who conveys the charm of plants from both cultivation and design perspectives, he is active globally with bases in Japan and Malaysia. He hosted NHK E Tele's "Shumi no Engei" (Hobbies of Horticulture) for 10 years and currently appears as an instructor and navigator. He also serves as an instructor for the Green Corner on NHK General's "Asaichi."

He is also active as a GreenSnap Ambassador and an ambassador promoting flowers and greenery in Yokohama, disseminating the charm of plants through lectures nationwide, garden supervision, TV, events, and YouTube.

He also works as a TV personality, host, and a Class 1 Financial Planner.
