[Event Report] Opening Ceremony Held for 'OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen' in Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture

AEON Fantasy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Tetsuya Fujiwara) held the 'OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen Opening Ceremony' on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, the day of the grand opening of 'OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen' in Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture.

Welcoming Niiza City Mayor Suguru Namiki and children who represent the future of the region as guests, we celebrated the opening. In-store, we held an opening commemorative event themed around '213 (Niiza)', and over 1,000 customers visited on the very first day.

OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen Opening Ceremony

Prior to the grand opening at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, the opening ceremony was held at 'OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen'.

Our Hot Spring Business Division Manager, Tatsuo Tsujimoto, who organized the event, gave an opening address, saying, 'All employees will do their utmost to bring smiles to everyone, so we humbly ask for your patronage of OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen.' Guest of honor, Niiza City Mayor Suguru Namiki, offered words of encouragement, stating, 'The source of Niiza Onsen has been passed down through generations. We, as a city, will support this facility so that it generates a great effect in raising the profile of Niiza City.'

Furthermore, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held together with the invited local children, marking a departure warmly watched over by the community.

Scenes After the Opening

On the day of the grand opening, a campaign titled '213 (Niiza) First Bath Campaign' was held, offering an 'OYUGIWA Original Towel' to the first 213 customers, playing on the number '213 (Niiza)'.

Inside the store, at the 'Kids Corner' featuring a ball pool and a circuit for children, an event called '213 (Niiza) Let's Blow a Good Wind! Löyly Fan Strikeout' was held, where participants used a large löyly fan to knock down numbered panels.

'OYUGIWA Niiza Onsen' will continue to aim to be a place that brings smiles and energy to all who gather at OYUGIWA.
