FeelWorks Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takao Maekawa), a specialist in enhancing 'Boss Power' for organizational HR development, has launched the '#Heart-Moving Management Stories' public submission project. This initiative addresses the growing social challenge where young employees increasingly view management roles as a 'punishment game.' The project aims to re-present the inherent joy of management and the beauty of human resonance to society.
Coinciding with the release of CEO Takao Maekawa's 40th book, 'Heart-Moving Management Stories: 18 Tales of Management Joy No One Ever Taught You,' the project offers all contributors a free special white paper titled '6 Steps of Field Boss Power for Managers and Leaders' (12-page PDF).
### Background: Restoring Humanity to Cold Workplaces While many modern workplaces prioritize efficiency and time performance, opportunities for human connection between supervisors and subordinates are diminishing. With many young professionals feeling that management roles carry only heavy responsibilities, FeelWorks believes it is essential to shine a light on the warm stories hidden in the field—acts of kindness, courage, and quiet effort—to reverse the negative image of management.
### Submission Guidelines: Share Your Heart-Moving Moments We are looking for stories that moved your heart while working, from both perspectives: - **For Managers:** Experiences of witnessing a subordinate's growth, expressions of gratitude toward staff, or moments when trust was built. - **For Subordinates:** Experiences where a boss supported your growth, stories of a boss who was easy to talk to, or advice that opened your perspective.
### Sharing Stories with Society All submitted stories will be edited to anonymize individuals and companies and then shared through FeelWorks' Podcast programs, official SNS channels, and newsletters. By visualizing these positive stories, the company aims to spread the circle of management joy throughout society.
