Player Comment To all Kagawa Five Arrows fans, hello. I’m Takashi Igarashi. I am deeply grateful to General Manager Naoto Ioku, Head Coach Higashijima, and all team staff for giving me the opportunity to join as a training player in this new B.LEAGUE ONE season. Player Comment Hello to all Five Arrows fans. My name is Yu Justin Ito. I sincerely thank General Manager Ioku, Head Coach Higashijima, Assistant Head Coach Yabuuchi, and all team staff, front office members, academy staff, and everyone who supported me during the off-season for giving me the opportunity to join the Kagawa Five Arrows as a training player this season. Thank you so much. I returned to Japan last year after playing basketball in Australia my entire life. Though I haven’t achieved anything in this league yet, I am deeply grateful to the Five Arrows for this opportunity. I am thrilled to begin my basketball career with a team that boasts 20 years of history and outstanding achievements. To me, basketball is a sport that connects people. It’s something I love and deeply cherish. I am grateful to the Five Arrows for this chance. I will face this challenge with determination and work hard toward the team’s goals. Comment from Naoto Ioku, President & General Manager Yu is a promising young talent who was eligible for last season’s draft and has been developing in Australia. Since April, he has been contributing to our club as an academy coach, and this season, he will join as a training player to grow through daily competition.
