White Peak Distillery Named England's No. 1, Wire Works Caduro Wins English Whisky No. 1 at TWSC 2026

(Sumida-ku, Tokyo), the exclusive Japanese distributor for the UK-based White Peak Distillery and its flagship bottle 'Wire Works Caduro', announced that they received two awards at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC) 2026 on May 29, 2026. The awards include the 'Best English Distillery' for White Peak Distillery and the 'Best Category Award (English Whisky)' for Wire Works Caduro. The TWSC is Japan's only and Asia's largest spirits competition, evaluated through rigorous blind tastings by bartenders and industry experts. Wire Works Caduro, which also won the 'Superior Gold' award, has now secured two top honors at TWSC 2026. The product is a single malt whisky from the UK, 700ml, 46.8% ABV. White Peak Distillery, located in the Derwent Valley, is known for its sustainable distillation processes, using English barley and local spring water. The distillery is housed in a converted wire factory, embodying a harmony of local culture, nature, and craft spirits.
