FM AICHI Special Week Features Radio's Classic: Music Requests! "FM AICHI Request Week!!" to be held June 1st (Mon) - 7th (Sun)!

FM AICHI (FM AICHI Co., Ltd., Nagoya FM 80.7MHz / Toyohashi FM 81.3MHz) will hold 'FM AICHI Request Week!!' for one week from June 1st (Mon) to June 7th (Sun).

This bi-annual special week is held to show appreciation to listeners who tune in to FM AICHI daily. Following the previous special week held last December, the station is launching 'FM AICHI Request Week!!' again. All live wide programs during this period will implement daily music request projects. Request themes include the highly popular 'Showa Kayo Requests,' 'Heisei Song Requests' featuring songs from the peak era of CD sales, and the returning 'Shiritori (Word Chain) Requests.'

Furthermore, one person per program session, totaling 25 listeners during the period, will receive a 5,000 yen gift certificate. Since the contents of the gift certificates change daily, listeners are encouraged to tune in every day. Additionally, one listener will be chosen from all those who submitted requests during the week to receive a 100,000 yen Amazon Gift Card!

Daily Themes and Prizes

June 1st (Mon): 'Showa Kayo Requests' A recurring theme since the 'Showa Day' on April 29th. The station will deliver classics that once thrilled households, such as group sounds, folk, new music, and idol pop. Prizes: 5,000 yen 'National Department Store Gift Certificate' for one listener per wide program.

June 2nd (Tue): 'Heisei Song Requests' Spanning from the early Heisei era—full of million-hit songs—to the later years where music genres and listening habits diversified. Listeners are invited to request songs that colored their youth. Prizes: 5,000 yen 'QUO Card' for one listener per wide program.

June 3rd (Wed): 'Western Music Requests' A day full of Western music, from nostalgia to the latest hits. Listeners are encouraged to send requests even if they only remember parts of a song. Prizes: 5,000 yen 'Coffee Gift Card' for one listener per wide program.

June 4th (Thu): 'Favorite Artist Requests' Featuring artists long-loved by listeners. Details on featured artists are available on the special event page. Prizes: 5,000 yen 'Apple Gift Card' for one listener per wide program.

June 5th (Fri): 'Shiritori (Word Chain) Requests' Returning for the first time in six months. Requests are linked in 'Shiritori' format. It's a chance to participate with every song aired. Prizes: 5,000 yen 'National Rice Coupon' for one listener per wide program.

June 6th (Sat): 'Youth Anime Song Requests' Accepting requests for 'Youth Anime Songs' that left a mark on listeners' hearts on 'ONE MORNING SATURDAY.' Prizes: 5,000 yen 'Rakuten Gift Card' for one lucky request sender.
