'Hokkaido Sweet Corn Paella' is a new summer-only paella made with plenty of Hokkaido sweet corn.

Hokkaido sweet corn, nurtured by the region's unique temperature differences and long daylight hours, is characterized by its rich sweetness in every kernel and a crisp, popping texture. To lock in the sweetness, the corn is flash-frozen immediately after harvest, preserving the freshness and flavor of just-picked corn.

The paella rice uses Hokkaido-grown rice. It is slowly baked in a special beef sauté soup that concentrates the umami of beef and aromatic vegetables, enhancing the corn's natural flavor while creating a deep, complex taste.

Furthermore, a finishing touch of butter soy sauce adds aroma and richness. The rich flavor of the corn that spreads with every bite, combined with the sizzling aroma of butter soy sauce, stimulates the appetite.

The umami of coarsely ground sausage and the sweetness of diced onions also blend together, creating a simple yet satisfying dish perfect for summer.
