FRAIM Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Go Miyasaka; hereinafter "the Company"), under its "Document Operations Open Platform Concept," has launched a new "Batch Correction" feature for "Suguraku," a document operations support add-in that operates on Microsoft Word and was released in April 2026.
◼ Background for the Development of the "Batch Correction" Feature
In internal documents such as contracts, company regulations, and reports, inconsistencies in notation like "and/and" (及び/および), "or/or" (又は/または), and "perform/perform" (行う/行なう) can appear dozens of times within long texts. "Suguraku" can automatically detect these inconsistencies without prior setup. However, the task of visually correcting each detected instance remained a manual process, posing challenges such as missed corrections and increased effort, especially with a high number of occurrences.
To address this issue, "Suguraku" has developed the "Batch Correction" feature, which allows for the unified correction of detected notational inconsistencies throughout the entire document. This feature is provided free of charge as a standard function.
◼ Key Features of the "Batch Correction" Function
Select the notation to unify and apply it to the entire document
Simply choose the notation you want to unify, such as "or → or" (又は→または), and it will correct the same inconsistencies throughout the document. This eliminates the need for one-by-one corrections, reducing the risk of missed errors. It works seamlessly within the familiar Word environment, requiring no migration or prior setup.
Confirm the number of occurrences and relevant sections before execution
The number of detected instances is displayed for each notational inconsistency. You can choose to "correct individually" or "correct in batch" after reviewing the content, allowing for work to proceed while avoiding unintended replacements.
Achieve consistent notation throughout long documents
Even for contracts or regulations spanning dozens of pages, detected inconsistencies can be corrected in batches. This significantly reduces the likelihood of missed corrections and the effort required for review, especially when dealing with a large volume of text, thereby enhancing the overall quality of the document.

◼ About "Suguraku," the Free Basic Function Word Add-in
"Suguraku" is a document operations support add-in that operates on Microsoft Word, with the concept of "Everything about documents, Suguraku." The free basic functions, available for use approximately 3 minutes after account registration, drastically lower the barrier to adoption. This service provides basic functions as a "foundation that anyone can use immediately," and by combining them with "specialized functions and plugins" offered by partner companies, it promotes the construction of an "Open Platform for Document Operations." Through these efforts, we aim to realize a new ecosystem.
