FRONTEO and Scohia Pharma Sign Agreement for New Indication Discovery Using AI Drug Discovery Service 'DDAIF'

FRONTEO Inc. and Scohia Pharma Inc. have entered into an agreement to utilize FRONTEO's AI drug discovery support service, 'Drug Discovery AI Factory (DDAIF),' to explore new indications (drug repositioning) for compounds held by Scohia Pharma. In conjunction with this agreement, FRONTEO has also made a capital investment in Scohia Pharma through a third-party allotment of shares. This investment is part of the 'DDAIF Innovation Bridge' program, which FRONTEO launched in February 2026 to combine technical support with capital investment. Drug repositioning is a method of identifying new therapeutic targets for existing compounds, which is expected to shorten development timelines and reduce costs. By leveraging FRONTEO's proprietary 'KIBIT' AI, the partnership aims to discover novel associations between diseases and target molecules that have not been documented in academic literature. Scohia Pharma is a drug discovery venture specializing in endocrine, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic fields, and this partnership aims to create innovative therapeutic possibilities.
