FRONTEO CEO Masahiro Morimoto Invited to Deliver Special Lecture at 'Medical Industry Growth Strategy Seminar Annual Forum 2026'

FRONTEO Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Masahiro Morimoto) announced that President Masahiro Morimoto has been invited as a special guest speaker at the 'Medical Industry Growth Strategy Seminar Annual Forum 2026,' to be held on July 15, 2026, at the International House of Japan. Hiroyoshi Toyoshiba, Director and CSO of FRONTEO, will also participate in the panel discussion following the lecture.

The 'Medical Industry Growth Strategy Seminar' was established in 1993 under the guidance of former Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Teijiro Furukawa. With over 396 sessions held over 33 years, it serves as a unique strategic platform for leaders in Japan's medical industry. Chaired by Osamu Nagayama, Honorary Chairman of Chugai Pharmaceutical, the seminar is led by a strategic team of 10 top leaders from industry, academia, and government.

For this year's special lecture, President Morimoto was selected alongside Nobel Laureate Shimon Sakaguchi, Professor Emeritus at Osaka University, to represent the AI drug discovery sector. Morimoto's lecture is titled 'Strengthening Japan's Drug Discovery Capabilities: Innovative Drug Discovery via Equation-Driven Domestic AI.' He will discuss how to enhance Japan's drug discovery prowess through the deployment of the 'Drug Discovery AI Factory (DDAIF),' which centers on FRONTEO's proprietary equation-driven AI, 'KIBIT.'
