Osaka Gyoza Specialty Restaurant Yoshiko to Hold Senryu Poetry Contest to Celebrate Father's Day from June 15-21

The father who wins the Grand Prize will receive a 2-hour all-you-can-drink offer at Yoshiko.

The Grand Prize is "We'll take care of your dad for 2 hours at Yoshiko!"

To express gratitude to fathers who work hard every day, the Grand Prize winner will receive a "2-hour all-you-can-drink free (food cost separate)" offer at the restaurant. This offer can be used by up to 4 people, including the father.

Senryu poems will be solicited using application forms distributed at the stores. Customers are invited to submit unique senryu poems about their fathers, including episodes of their cute dads, dads they love, or clumsy dads. This project was conceived by Legend Ito (Store Manager) of the Yoshiko Iidabashi store. "I thought about wanting fathers who work hard every day to relieve their daily fatigue by drinking a lot at Yoshiko and to have fun. We declare 'We'll take care of you for 2 hours' hoping that families can send their fathers out with peace of mind. Lol."

This project is filled with the wish of all Yoshiko staff to bring joy to fathers and their families!!

How to Apply for the Father's Day "Senryu" Contest

Please apply using the application form distributed at each store.

The application period is from Monday, June 15th to Sunday, June 21st. From the senryu poems submitted during this period, each store manager will select one Grand Prize winner based on criteria such as "humor," "emotion," and "affection."

About "Osaka Gyoza Specialty Restaurant Yoshiko"

"Yoshiko" is the mother of the founders of "Osaka Yakiniku/Horumon Futago." When the brothers were young, their mother "Yoshiko," who ran a small restaurant, made their signature gyoza. Despite being poor, "Yoshiko," who was always smiling and caring, made small, thin-skinned gyoza filled with plenty of vegetables, including grated garlic, ginger, and napa cabbage. The gyoza, browned to a fragrant crisp, have a chewy texture despite their crispy surface. The juicy filling melts in your mouth, releasing the umami of the vegetables, and you'll find yourself finishing a plate in no time. The gyoza, made with 100% domestic vegetables and carefully prepared one by one, are produced under strict safety standards, so children can enjoy them with peace of mind.
