Savor Japanese Sweets and Cold Tea Made with Natural Water from Mount Fuji: Limited-Time Collaboration Menu 'FRECIOUS × Amanesa Ryō' Launches

Fuji-san GX Holdings Co., Ltd. has announced that its home water delivery service via water dispensers, 'FRECIOUS (Frecious)', will launch a limited-time collaboration with 'Amanesa Ryō (Amanesa Ryō)', a traditional Japanese café in Sendagi, Tokyo, renovated from a historic machiya townhouse. The collaboration features special menu items crafted using Frecious natural water, available starting Thursday, July 23, 2026.

In Reiwa 7, green tea exports reached a record high of 72.1 billion yen※1. Driven by global health trends and the popularity of Japanese cuisine, demand for green tea—particularly matcha—has surged overseas. Export values have shown consistent long-term growth, marking a worldwide boom.

Amid this green tea trend, the collaboration between 'Frecious', known for its naturally sweet water sourced from Mount Fuji, and 'Amanesa Ryō', which offers Japanese tea, carefully selected sweets, and home-style dishes in a space themed around 'a shelter for the soul during rain', brings forth a simple yet luxurious concept: 'When water tastes good, tea tastes good too.' This summer, guests can enjoy cold-brewed 'Tsuyuhikari' green tea from Shizuoka Prefecture and two types of traditional Japanese sweets made with generous use of natural water, all served in the serene, historic ambiance unique to Amanesa Ryō.

Additionally, during the collaboration period, Frecious’ sister brand, the purification-type water dispenser 'every frecious (Every Frecious)', will be installed in the café. Guests can not only enjoy the collaboration menu but also experience operating the water dispenser and sampling the purified water firsthand.

Background of the Frecious × Amanesa Ryō Collaboration

As summer heat intensifies, 'Frecious' and 'Amanesa Ryō' propose a luxurious yet simple pleasure: 'When water tastes good, tea tastes good.' Frecious natural water is soft water (hardness 24) with a subtle sweetness, sourced from approximately 273 meters underground at an elevation of 1,000 meters on Mount Fuji. Its clean, impurity-free profile maximizes the umami of premium tea leaves and the delicate flavors of traditional sweets, making this collaboration possible.

＜Cold-Brewed Tsuyuhikari Tea with Natural Water＞

Made with 'Tsuyuhikari', a Shizuoka-grown tea variety known for its strong sweetness and umami, even among the renowned Hon-yama tea. Using Frecious’ naturally sweet water, twice the usual amount of tea leaves is steeped slowly at low temperatures. This method suppresses bitterness while allowing the natural water to fully extract the tea’s inherent sweetness and depth. The result is a refreshing, complex brew perfect for summer.

＜Chilled Warabi Mochi with Ginger Syrup＞

A simple, handmade warabi mochi with a bouncy, jelly-like texture, designed to highlight the pure taste of natural water. Generously topped with house-made chilled syrup (a diluted ginger syrup), its spicy ginger note adds a refreshing accent. After extensive experimentation to maximize the quality of the water, this luxurious, summery treat was born. ※ Available until Monday, September 28.

＜Two-Layered Green Plum Jelly and Ginger White-An Water Jelly＞

A visually refreshing two-layered water jelly that showcases the smoothness of natural water. On top of a silky white-an water jelly with a hint of ginger aroma, a transparent, tangy green plum jelly and ripe green plum jam are layered. Enjoy the bright acidity of the green plums enhanced by the natural water, followed by a clean, crisp aftertaste. ※ Available until the end of August.
