Report on the Establishment of a Dedicated Consultation Desk for Taiwanese Companies and the 10th Anniversary Exchange & Appreciation Event of the Fukuoka Bank Taipei Representative Office

Fukuoka Financial Group, Inc. (President: Hisashi Goto, hereinafter "FFG") held an exchange meeting and an appreciation party on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Taipei City, Taiwan, to commemorate the establishment of a new consultation desk for Taiwanese companies and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Fukuoka Bank Taipei Representative Office. The event was held in two parts, daytime and evening, and was attended by approximately 130 people from Japanese and Taiwanese companies and related parties.

Since its opening in December 2015, FFG has been focusing on supporting Japanese companies' expansion into Taiwan through its Fukuoka Bank Taipei Representative Office. In response to the recent increase in Taiwanese companies expanding into Kyushu, triggered by TSMC's entry into Kumamoto, FFG established the "Kyushu/Kumamoto Expansion Consultation Desk" at the Fukuoka Bank Taipei Representative Office and the "Taiwanese Corporate Consultation Desk" at Kumamoto Bank in May 2026, strengthening its support system for business development by both Japanese and Taiwanese companies.

FFG will continue to focus on supporting the mutual development of Japanese and Taiwanese companies, contributing to the development of regional economies and the further expansion of economic exchange between Japan and Taiwan.
