Fanova Inc. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kosuke Funakubo) has unveiled its training and evaluation system aimed at improving the service quality of its trainers. FLATTE operates multiple fitness brands, including semi-personal gyms, personal machine Pilates studios, and 24-hour gyms for women. As the number of locations grows, the company believes it is crucial to establish a training system that does not rely solely on years of experience to ensure consistent service quality across all stores. The newly released system includes a basic training program of approximately three weeks, covering service understanding, basic knowledge of the body and machines, practical skills, customer service, and conducting trial lessons. After training, the company continues to provide practical assessments and feedback at the stores, gradually expanding the trainer's scope of responsibility to foster individual growth and improve overall service quality. As part of its efforts, FLATTE opened the 'FLATTE Instructor College' in April 2026. The system aims to enhance service quality through basic school learning, practical skill checks, lesson observation, and continuous feedback. In the fitness and Pilates industry, training personnel and standardizing service quality are critical themes as store counts increase. FLATTE ensures consistent quality regardless of who is in charge by combining basic training, practical checks, role-playing, and feedback. The company values diverse backgrounds, believing that previous work and life experiences are strengths for trainers. Moving forward, FLATTE plans to integrate trainer training, store manager development, and operational support to facilitate further store expansion and franchising.
