Online Summer School 2026: 'Let's Create a One-of-a-Kind Fish Quiz Encyclopedia!'

Furuno Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishinomiya, Hyogo; President and CEO: Yukio Furuno; hereinafter 'the Company') has been supporting the online school hosted by 'Sakana no Oniisan Kawachan' since its inception in 2023. This initiative is part of the 'Sea to the Future Project,' which aims to contribute to the ocean by nurturing children's curiosity through the fascinating ecology of fish and the importance of the sea. The school, led by the Company's official ambassador, operates under the theme of 'Deepening our passions together, making friends, and developing the power to communicate.' Over four sessions from July 22 (Wed) to September 6 (Sun), 2026, participants will create their own unique fish quiz encyclopedias. This year, in collaboration with Kobe Suma Sea World, a special talk show featuring dolphin and orca trainers will be held during the online session on July 28 (Tue). Furthermore, on the final day, September 6 (Sun), the 'Fish Koshien' will be held alongside an on-site presentation, providing a special experience for students to showcase their learning and achievements.
