Takenouchi Farm (FUTSUU Company), a small-scale farm in Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture, is launching 'PROJECT KISEKI,' Japan's first refund guarantee system that provides a full refund (including shipping) for potatoes that fall apart during cooking, based solely on the submission of one photo. This initiative introduces a new value standard of 'ingredients that guarantee 100% cooking success,' achieved through the characteristics of Sakurajima's volcanic black soil ('Oyamada Terroir') and the 'Nishiyutaka' potato variety, supported by scientific evidence and unique cultivation disciplines. The program applies to the 'SAKURAJIMA FUTSUU (Ume brand)' and is limited to 500kg of the 2026 harvest. The scientific basis includes low-amylose structure, cell wall strength, and moisture retention, which prevent the potatoes from falling apart. Furthermore, strict cultivation disciplines, such as avoiding scissors and manual sprout removal, support this quality. Reservations will begin on May 28, 2026, via the official LINE account.
